SPD investigating shooting incident in downtown Spokane.
On 08-15-17 at about 3:45PM, SPD responded to a shooting incident near W Main Ave and N Washington St. A subject with a gunshot wound was located at the location.
Right now detectives are on scene investigating the incident. More information will be forthcoming when it is available.
SPD requests the public’s assistance by avoiding the area while the scene is processed. Washington St. between Sprague Ave and Spokane Falls Blvd is shut down, as well as Main between Stevens and Bernard. It is anticipated that the area will remain closed for several hours, and traffic delays are expected.
