On Thursday, October 12, 2017, just after 6:45PM, Spokane Police responded to a robbery in the 6600 block of N. Addison St. The victim had met with a female suspect in the area to sell a cell phone they had listed for sale online. After the victim refused a trade with the female suspect, he was threatened by one of the two males who were with the female. When the victim attempted to call 911, a male suspect took the victim’s cell phone, and punched him multiple times as the female suspect held the victim down. The second male watched as the male and female suspects assaulted the victim and stole the handbag the victim was carrying. The male who punched the victim and stole his bag ran away westbound with the female. The male who had been watching also left the area.
The male suspect who ran away was described as a black male in his mid 20’s with a skinny build, and short brown hair. He was wearing a tank top, basketball shorts, and basketball shoes. The female was described as a white female in her early 20’s, approximately 5’06” tall, skinny build, with blonde/strawberry hair, wearing a grey hoodie.
Spokane Police set up a perimeter in the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.
