Today, October 20, just before 9:30AM, Spokane Police responded to the report of a deceased female located in the dumpster of a business in the 2900 block of E. 27th Ave. Spokane Police Officers and Major Crimes Unit (MCU) Detectives responded to the scene for the investigation. Spokane Police are actively investigating to determine the cause/nature of the unattended death.

Spokane Police ask anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or had any information for the death investigation, to call Crime Check at (509)456-2233.

The identity of the deceased and the cause of death will be released by the Spokane Medical Examiner’s Office.
