Today, October 25, just before 7:30AM, Spokane Police and the Spokane Fire Department responded to the report of a deceased male located near E. Spokane Falls Blvd. / N. Pine St. The deceased male was found by a passerby who initially attempted first aid. The Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit (MCU) responded to the scene to conduct the death investigation. MCU Detectives are actively investigating to determine the cause/nature of the unattended death. The westbound lane for E. Spokane Falls Blvd. was temporarily closed during the investigation, but has reopened now.
Spokane Police ask anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or had any information for the death investigation, to call Crime Check at (509)456-2233.
The identity of the deceased and the cause of death will be released by the Spokane Medical Examiner’s Office.
