Spokane Police Major Crimes Respond to Downtown Shooting

Spokane Police Major Crimes respond to a downtown shooting early this morning. One subject was shot and transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

This morning, February 13th, 2018, around 12:40am, Spokane Police responded to a report of a shooting at Sprague Avenue and Jefferson Street. Officers arrived on scene and found a victim of an apparent gunshot wound. Officers rendered live saving first aid to the male before transferring care to the Spokane Fire Department and AMR.

The shooting victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition

The person(s) responsible for the shooting had fled the scene, possibly in a sedan type vehicle and have not been located.
