March 5th at 12:50 pm, Spokane Police responded to a downtown office building for the report of protesters trespassing and causing a disturbance. Officers met with protest leaders who agreed to leave if three of their number would be arrested. Officers peaceably arrested three of the protesters who were then released after being given citations for trespassing.
Spokane Police protect the rights of all those they encounter. Everyone has a right to peaceably protest, however, this may not interfere with the rights of others to conduct business and feel safe in their everyday lives.
