Shooting suspect, Christopher Felch, located and arrested.

On May 21st, 2018, just before midnight, the United States Marshals Service requested assistance from the Spokane Police Department (SPD) in trying to apprehend Christopher T. Felch. Information was obtained indicating Felch was at one of two north side addresses in Spokane.

A group of SWAT officers, along with two patrol teams, set up containment on the locations and were able to determine Felch was inside a residence near 6900 N. Altamont Street.

Felch was taken into custody without incident just before 3:00 am this morning. Felch was not injured nor was any community member or police personnel.

SPD obtained a search warrant for the Altamont location, along with a residence at 900 E. Nebraska Avenue, and will be seeking evidence from the shooting on May 17th, 2018.

This incident is another great collaboration between the U.S. Marshals Service and SPD that resulted in removing an armed and dangerous wanted subject from the community.
