Hit and Run crash 6th/Bishop

Sunday, August 12 at 4:00 pm, Spokane Police responded to West 6th Avenue and West Bishop Court for the report of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash.

Officers found the pedestrian lying in the roadway. Witnesses stated the striking vehicle had fled the scene. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored smaller four door sedan with Idaho license plates.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

SPD is interviewing numerous witnesses and collecting video from the scene. The involved driver and passengers are encouraged to come forward. Anyone else with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call Crime Check, 509-456-2233, if you have not already done so.
