SPD Responds to Stabbing Incident

The Spokane Police Department Responded to the area of North Central High School on Wednesday for reports of a male who had been stabbed. Officers located the male victim a couple of blocks away from the school and he was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

On October 31, 2018 at about 1620 hrs, Officers responded to North Central High School, 1600 N Howard, for reports of a male who was stabbed. Officers arrived and did not locate anybody involved. A witness in the area stated that the victim left west bound on foot. Officers located him a couple blocks away. He received medical treatment at the scene and was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening wounds.

The male victim is in his late 20’s and was not a student of the high school. He was stabbed at a nearby location and walked through the school grounds. The victim was not overly cooperative with Officers. He did not provide an exact location or the circumstances around the stabbing.

District 81 security was able to access video surveillance of the nearby area. Officers are currently following leads to see if a possible suspect can be located.
