Spokane Police Officers responded to the area of Lincoln Park on the south hill for a stabbing. The male victim stated a female had stabbed him and fled the scene on foot. Officers in the area located and arrested the female within minutes.
On November 1, 2018 Spokane Police Officers responded to upper Lincoln Park, 2221 S Southeast Blvd for a stabbing call. A male in his early 40’s stated that he and his ex-girlfriend (48 year old Jennaffer Townley) were hanging out in the park and an argument ensued. Townley pulled out a knife and slashed him in the hand. He gave her description and a direction of travel to Officers.
Minutes later Officers located Townley in front of the Rock cliff apartments at Southeast Blvd and Rockwood Blvd. Townley still had a large, fixed blade knife with her upon being detained. After conducting an investigation, Townley was arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail for 2nd degree assault (deadly weapon).
The male had minor injuries to his hand from the knife.
