The Spokane Police Department’s investigation into the Lewis and Clark High School threat is ongoing. Detectives are collaborating with school and federal officials while patrol officers continue to monitor the school.

Major Crimes Detectives continue to investigate the online threat made towards Lewis and Clark High School. This matter is a top priority. Detectives, as well as technical support staff, have dedicated a significant number of hours to seeking and analyzing available evidence. SPD continues to collaborate with federal agencies and work closely with school officials in the search for evidence in hopes of bringing resolution to this incident.

We appreciate the students, their families and the staff’s patience while detectives continue to pursue this investigation which is very detailed and complex. We understand the stress this has put on the LC community.

This is an ongoing investigation with no further details to release at this time.

SPD is committed to the safety and security of our community.
