SPD launches Spokane Safe Place

4:07 p.m. - SPD launches Spokane Safe Place to offer crime victims, particularly hate crimes, somewhere to safely wait for police response

Oct. 7

SPD Investigating Hit and Run Collision Involving a Lime Scooter

4:16 p.m. - SPD processed the scene of an injury hit and run collision involving a Lime scooter and a vehicle. The scooter rider received a significant injury.

Shooting In East Central

12:07 p.m. - Shooting in Spokane’s East Central neighborhood injures two

Oct. 6

Downtown Stabbing

8:15 a.m. - On Monday, an Officer working in the STA plaza was contacted by a male who walked up and stated he needed help and thinks he had been stabbed.

Oct. 5

Downtown Homicide

4:14 p.m. - Friday night, SPD responded downtown for a stabbing. One victim was transported to the hospital where he later died.
