Thanks to an anonymous tip, Norman was taken into custody in the area of Sprague/Jefferson just before 9 p.m. tonight, Nov. 18, 2020.

Original Release:

The Spokane Police Department Major Crimes Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating a homicide suspect currently wanted for Second Degree Murder.  Anyone with knowledge regarding the whereabouts of Garry L. Norman, 07/26/1984 (pictured below) is asked to call crime check at 509.456.2233 and provide the department with that information to help lead to his capture.

The Spokane Police Department MCU is looking for Garry Norman who is currently wanted for second degree murder regarding the killing of Anthony Vornheder on October first of this year. If anyone has knowledge of his location we ask you to please call crime check and share what you know.  You can remain anonymous and information you leave will be relayed to the lead detective and other investigators. 

Norman is pictured below, he is 5’ 9” tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds.  He has multiple tattoos including playing cards on his neck, a tear drop under his left eye and the words “FUCK” on the knuckles of his right hand and “COPS” on the knuckles of his left. 

Please do not attempt to detain him yourself as he should be considered armed and dangerous.
