Daniel has returned home and is safe

Original Release 8/11/21:

SPD asking for public’s assistance locating missing 11-year-old

11-year-old Daniel Ryken was last seen at about 3:30PM near Whitman Elementary in Northeast Spokane. Daniel is a white male, just under 4’ tall, and weighs around 70 pounds.  Daniel was last observed wearing a red baseball cap, Seattle Mariners’ jersey, jeans, and green/black shoes which light up.

Daniel ran-away from his residence. He has medical history which presents a risk to his well-being.

If you see Daniel please call crime check at 456-2233 immediately. If able, please keep an eye on Daniel until first responders arrive.
