The Spokane Police Department refers murder charge for the death of Kala Williams.

SPD’s Major Crimes Unit (MCU) has referred a charge of 1st degree murder for 52-year-old Robert G. Davis to the Spokane County Prosecuting Attorney’s office. This recommendation stems from the 2012 death of Kala Williams. The Spokane County Medical Examiner recently re-classified the manner of death in this case to “homicide.” Davis remains in an Idaho prison on unrelated charges.
