SPD’s Major Crimes Unit (MCU) responds to a suspicious death

On February 15, 2023 around 4:00 pm, SPD responded to the 2900 block of E. Diamond Ave. regarding a death investigation.  Officers found an adult female deceased.  Physical observations of the deceased led officers to believe there was potential criminality.  MCU responded and is currently investigating.

This is an active investigation and more information will be released at a later date.  The identity of the deceased female and the cause and manner of death will be released by the medical examiner.
