SPD seeking  assistance in identifying a theft suspect who has been stealing items from hospital patients

The Spokane Police Department is asking for assistance from the public to help identify a theft suspect.  Several thefts of wallets and purses dating back March of 2023 are linked to the male suspect in the photographs below.  The suspect has been observed on multiple security videos using stolen credit cards.  The stolen credit cards were related to the stolen purses and wallets.  The victims of the thefts were admitted to local hospitals at the time of the crime.

As the photos show, the male suspect wears unique clothing to include a fedora style hat, necklaces and carries a purse.  The suspect male also appears to have a left eye injury and has gray hair.  If you have information as to the identity of this suspect, please contact the SPD Tip Line at 509 242-8477.  You can also email the Tip Line at SPDtipline@spokanepolice.org.
