Suspect in East Spokane credit union robbery identified

Spokane Police have identified the male suspect in the credit union robbery that took place on 4-10-24 in the 400 block of East 3rd Avenue. The suspect is Jesse L. Criswell (43) and probable cause exists to arrest him for 1st Degree Robbery. Criswell is 5-07 and weighs roughly 150-180 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair. See photo 3. Please note he may no longer have a beard.

Original Release: SPD seeking suspect after East Spokane credit union robbery
On 4-10-24 at 4:05pm, SPD responded to the 400 block of East 3rd Avenue on a report of a robbery at a credit union. A male suspect entered the business and handed a note to a teller demanding money. The employee complied and the suspect left the location with an unknown amount of cash. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported.
SPD officers arrived within minutes of the 911 call and began searching the area for the robbery suspect, but were unable to locate him. The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s to 40’s. His estimated height is 5-06 with a thin build. He was observed wearing a baseball cap, medical mask, neutral colored jacket and khaki-colored pants.
