Suspect in custody after early morning shooting leaves one dead

On June 25th, 2024 at 12:52am, Spokane Police responded to the area of 5600 North Cochran Street in Northwest Spokane after 911 received a call from a female advising she had shot her father.  Officer arrived on scene within minutes, detaining the female caller at the front of the residence. 

Officers entered the home to find a deceased male.  The residence was secured as detectives with SPD’s Major Crimes Unit (MCU) arrived to investigate the shooting.  Alyssa M. Bradburn (31) was taken into custody and charged with 1st Degree Murder.  She appeared in Spokane Superior Court this afternoon where a judge set her bond at 1 million dollars.
