Just before 6:30 this morning, 7/2/24, Spokane Police responded to a collision call at 4th and Lincoln on Spokane’s South Hill.  A woman was riding a scooter northbound, down the hill on Lincoln, when a driver going eastbound on 4th stopped at the stop sign. When he pulled into the intersection the scooter and the vehicle collided. Citizens in the area began CPR on the victim until EMS took over, but ultimately the woman died from her injuries. It does not appear the driver of the vehicle was impaired. SPD’s Major Crimes Investigators arrived on scene and are investigating the collision.

The name of the deceased will be released at a later date by the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office.
