Original Release 7/7/24:

Spokane Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing elderly man. John Wing (79) suffers from Alzheimer’s and relies on medication he does not have with him. If you see Wing or know of his whereabouts, please call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

Today, July 7, 2024, just after 2:00pm, Spokane Police received a call from Wing’s family advising he was missing from the 1100 block of N. Superior. John, who also goes by Sonny, left on foot and may be trying to get a ride to the Deer Park area.

John is described as a white male, 5’11”, 160lbs, and was last seen wearing a dark flannel, jeans, cowboy boots, and a belt with a “J” buckle.
