Spokane Police investigating early morning shooting in North-East Spokane

On February 14th, 2025 at approximately 7am, Spokane Police Officers responded to the area of Wabash and Lacey on a report of a shooting.  Officers were on-scene within minutes and located one person with a gunshot wound.  The injured person was transported to a local hospital.  Their medical status has not been released at this time.  The incident does not appear to be random and the SPD Major Crimes Unit (MCU) has responded to assist with the investigation.
