Friday, April 25, 2025 at 9 a.m.
On April 25th, 2025 at approximately 3:15am SPD responded to a gas station located at Montgomery and Division on a report of a shooting. 911 received multiple calls about the incident with the information being provided that two people had been shot. Officers quickly arrived to find two victims in the parking lot. Officers began life saving measures, but one of the victims succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second victim was transported to a local hospital and at the time of this release is listed in critical but stable condition.
Detectives with the SPD Major Crimes Unit (MCU) responded to the location and are investigating the incident. If you have any information in regard to the shooting, please contact Crime Check at 509 456-2233.
