Criminal Activity Leads to Emphasis Patrols in Northwest Spokane

Two shootings in the area of 1300 W Courtland are leading to stepped up patrols in that area. No victims or suspects have been located at this time. Anyone with information or surveillance footage who has not been contacted by police is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

Just this year, Spokane Police have responded to what appear to be two separate drive-by shootings in the 1300 block of west Courtland Ave. Evidence was located in both instances, but neither a motive or intended victim has been ascertained.

Due to these dangerous criminal actions, patrol officers will be monitoring the area as much as possible with extra patrols. In addition, Spokane Police surveillance equipment has also been deployed in the area to monitor activity 24/7.
