Overnight assault sends one male to local hospital with life threatening injuries; SPD seeking suspect/s

On June 4th, 2025 at 2:30am, SPD was contacted by a local hospital and advised that an adult male had been transported there by AMR, with life threatening injuries.  AMR had been flagged down near Clark Park, 3900 N. Normandie, and located the assault victim.  Officers responded to the park and located a crime scene.  Evidence was collected at the scene and from the victim to include DNA and other forensic evidence.  Detectives from the SPD Major Crimes Unit (MCU) are actively working this case, but at the time of this release have not located the other involved parties in this violent assault. 

SPD is asking community members for assistance in this matter to help locate the suspect/s.  If you have any information or surveillance footage that may assist investigators, please contact Crime Check at 509 456-2233.
