Spokane Police Investigating Shooting In North Spokane That Left One Adult Injured

On January 28, 2026 at 3 p.m., SPD responded to a residence in the 1500 block of East Decatur on a report of a shooting. 911 was advised that an adult female had been shot and was in the front yard of the residence. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) are on the scene to assist with the investigation. No arrests have been at this time and there is no current threat to the public.
