Welcome to the HMIS Training Page! We're glad you're here—and grateful for the vital work you do. By joining the HMIS user community, you’re helping collect and maintain the high-quality data that drives real solutions to homelessness across Spokane Regional CoC.

All trainings are offered online and can be accessed through the sign-up links below.

Why HMIS Training Matters

Accurate, consistent data is the foundation of effective services for people experiencing homelessness. It helps us:

• Understand the needs and challenges of our community
• Improve coordination among service providers
• Inform funding decisions and policy
• Drive meaningful, lasting change

That's why HMIS training is so important. It ensures that every user is equipped to enter and manage data responsibly, ethically, and in alignment with local and federal standards.

How to Sign Up

1. Select Online Registration and fill out the form.
2. Select the course you want from the Training Descriptions below.
3. Once submitted, the form will be sent to your manager for approval.
4. Once your manager approves your course, HMIS support will enable your course and send you a HMIS Training Information email with the information to access your course.
