The Spokane City Council has deferred until Feb. 10 its consideration of a proposed ordinance that would establish an independent Police Ombudsman Commission and a tentative agreement with the Spokane Police Guild.

The City Council took the action while it gathers additional information. Adding a week gives the public additional time to consider the proposed ordinance and tentative agreement.
