Spokane City Councilman Mike Fagan will help children “Build their Dreams” on Friday, May 9.

He is distributing raffle tickets to the children, for the opportunity for one child to win a custom-built “Sheriff’s Office” Playhouse designed and created by Deacon Band and Eastern Washington University Building /Architecture and Construction students. The playhouse will be a dream-come-true for a child.

Fagan, along with business leaders, center executives, and other elected officials have come together to make this exciting and innovative event happen.

The event includes the playhouse raffle and an auction of playhouses, porch swings, doors, chicken coops and more custom designed and constructed by area builders and supporters. The event takes place on Saturday, May 10 at the Spokane Convention Center.

“This gives me an opportunity to support the event and our centers while giving one child a chance to win their very own dream playhouse,” Fagan says.

Proceeds will benefit the West Central Community Center, Peaceful Valley Community Center, and the Northeast Youth Center. The event is sponsored by the Spokane Home Builders Association, Rosauer’s, The Spokesman-Review, Fox 28, Avista, Zak!
