City Council Member Mike Fagan is encouraging citizens to attend and participate in the 23rd Annual Cops n’ Kids Car Show Saturday, Aug. 16. The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. until midnight at the corner of Riverside and Washington in Downtown Spokane.

Cops n’ Kids is an opportunity for local youth to talk and interact with Spokane Police officers and other local agencies while enjoying competitions for the best show cars, trucks, motorcycles, and even bicycles! Food is also available at the event.

“As a champion for youth, I know this event presents a perfect opportunity for community partnerships. Cops n’ Kids joins together young people, families, and people who serve in law enforcement to participate in something positive that builds stronger, safer neighborhoods,” said Councilman Fagan.

Vehicles on display from different decades will include everything from backyard buggies to vintage police cars and expensive show cars.

Cops n’ Kids is free to attend. Free vehicle registration for competitions starts at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
