Spokane Human Rights Award nominations continue

The deadline to nominate an individual or organization for the 2014 Spokane Human Rights Award has been extended to Sunday, Oct. 19.

This award, presented by the Spokane Human Rights Commission and Mayor David Condon, recognizes contributions and achievements to advance human rights in the City of Spokane within three categories:

  • Youth Award (Individual under 21 years of age)
  • Individual Award
  • Organization Award

Nominees will be judged by members of the Spokane Human Rights Commission. The award will be presented during the 2nd Annual Human Rights Award breakfast on Friday, October 24th at 8 a.m. in the Chase Gallery (lower level) at Spokane City Hall.
