Garbage, recycling, and yard waste services will be a day late all week, with Friday's pickup occurring on Saturday due to the Memorial Day holiday. Extended Hours at Three Spokane Public Library Branches

Customers can charge devices and get out of the cold

Downtown, Shadle and East Side branches will be open tonight (Wednesday) until 8 p.m. These extended hours will allow customers to come in, charge their devices, have a warm, safe place to be, and of course to check out books and use the computers. Extra power strips are available for charging devices.

Indian Trail will close as expected at 6 p.m. The South Hill branch and the Hillyard branch continue to be closed and have no power.
