Mayor Condon to Deliver State of the City Address on Feb. 8

Spokane Mayor David Condon will deliver the annual State of the City Address on Friday, Feb. 8, during an 11:30 a.m. meeting of Greater Spokane Incorporated (GSI) in the Spokane Convention Center. The address will be shown live on the City’s web site, Facebook page, and on CityCable 5, and a free watch party is planned in the City Council Chambers in the lower level of City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

The Mayor also will deliver a version of the speech at the 6 p.m. City Council meeting on Monday, Feb. 11, also in the Council Chambers. The Council meeting is shown live on the City’s web site and on CityCable 5.

The Mayor will detail accomplishments from 2018 and plans and expectations for 2019, based on the goals and initiatives of the City’s 6-year Joint Administration-City Council Strategic Plan. Throughout the speech, he will focus on the programs, projects, and advances that make him and our citizens optimistic about Spokane.

CityCable 5 is the City’s government-access cable station; it is found on channels five and 325 on the Comcast cable system in Spokane. After the event, CityCable 5 will replay the speech through the month of February and make it available on the City’s Vimeo channel.
