Spokane Mayor David Condon is in New York City this week attending the Yale Mayors College combined with its CEO Summit. The Mayor was invited to attend the prestigious event, and his expenses were paid by the Yale program.

“I am honored to be included in this conversation, exploring what makes cities more livable,” says Mayor David Condon. “The event allows Mayors to share ideas and best practices with their peers from other cities and engage with corporate CEOs with years of leadership and project experience.”

Mayor Condon has presented and participated in discussions on transportation infrastructure, communications and energy, economic development, crisis management, leadership, and more.

The Mayors College is hosted by the Chief Executive Leadership Institute of the Yale School of Management. The Mayors College is an intimate forum with invitations extended to 25 mayors each year. This year, the College is being held in conjunction with the semi-annual CEO Summit, which encourages exchange between corporate CEOs, scholars and policy makers. Overall, the goals of these events are to encourage exchange between leaders of business and society.
