The Audubon-Downriver and Northwest neighborhood councils are working together to craft a community vision for the Shadle area. The Shadle area is located around the Shadle Shopping Center and includes the Shadle Public Library, Shadle Park High School and Glover Middle School, and other nearby services.

The public is essential in creating a vision for this area. Please share your input on how you use the Shadle area and what opportunities you see for improvement in a brief online survey.

Citizens also are invited to participate in the Shadle Area Plan Studio. Planners will be available to talk to citizens on a drop-in basis over three days to answer questions and receive feedback. Citizens also can attend community meetings on the project. During the meetings and drop-in times, citizens can meet their neighbors, talk with the City’s project team, check out displays and maps, share ideas and help influence the plan direction.
