The 2023 Youth Behavioral Health Grant, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act, opens Wednesday, Sept. 27! This program’s purpose is to provide last-in capital dollars to assist in a construction project or expansion of an existing facility. This construction must result in and/or expand services to at risk youth that have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.

This Notice of Funding of Availability will award a grant up to $1,000,000 to provide “last dollars” to a behavioral health organization to assist in completing capital improvements for expansion of services. This project should be made through a competitive bid process. These dollars may not be used as a federal match to a project, they are intended to be last dollars needed to complete a project or expansion.

The application deadline is Friday, Nov. 3, 5 p.m. For information on how to apply please visit the Spokane ARPA website.

There is an optional workshop where technical assistance is available on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2:30 – 4 p.m. It will be held both virtually and in-person at the Central Library, Event Room B.
