Events and festivals are some of the best things about being in Spokane in the summertime, and local neighborhoods are preparing for some big parties soon.
This weekend, in fact, is the 14th Annual Garland Street Fair. A variety of food vendors and local artists and artisans will be on hand, along with music, performers, and the popular car show. The Street Fair is Saturday, Aug. 8th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Garland Business District.
Over in northeast Spokane, The Hillyard Festival runs through the weekend. Enjoy entertainment, food, the parade down Market Street Saturday morning and fireworks at dusk Saturday night!
There are great events happening in the coming weeks as well. The Logan Neighborhood Block Party is happening on Wednesday, Sept. 2nd. The event features food, live music, kids' activities, hoops and more. The Bemiss Neighborhood Concert with Pamela Benton is set for Aug. 28 in Hays Park.
