The City of Spokane is excited to announce an interim vendor for pay by phone service at the meters. The City will be working with Passport Parking to bring back the pay-by-phone service as a payment option at parking meters starting in April.
In preparation for the launch of this service, the City is running a test area where customers can use the app to pay for parking along Main Avenue between Lincoln and Wall Street. Once the test period has been successfully completed, stickers will go up on all of the meters. Full system implementation is expected to begin on Monday April 3rd, given a successful test period. Installation of the stickers will be done over the course of several days, weather and staff permitting.
Customers can download “Passport Parking Mobile Pay” for free from the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. A link to the app will also be available on the City website once system-wide implementation begins.

Until Monday, May 15 we will be offering a reloadable wallet promotion titled, Spokane Incentive Wallet. Customers will be charged $20 to their card and $22 will be credited to their Passport Parking wallet.
Passport Parking will be providing this service for several months as the City completes a public solicitation for a long-term contract.
