The Friends of Manito (TFM) are thrilled to present a large selection of plant varieties including edibles Pink Lemonade blueberry and Natchez blackberry. TFM Sales always have the new to the market plants comprising Proven Winner Hostas, coneflowers, coralbells, hyssop, and yellow blooming shasta daisies.

Free informative talks and demonstrations
  • 10:00 a.m. How to prepare our plants for winter, a new and easier way presented by Theodora Sallee.
  • 11:00 a.m. Make amazing things with dried gourds presented by Karen Jerome
  • 12:00 a.m. Growing bulbs to extend the bloom season in the garden presented by Gabi Tilly
  • 1:00 p.m. Discover deer resistant plants presented by Eberhard Schmidt. Take home a deer resistant plant list and garden design handout.
  • 2:00 p.m. Attract those hummers like never before presented by Linnell Hinchey.
Kids will have lots of fun

Children will be making leaf masks, gnarly fall trees, & autumn wreaths

Music for your enjoyment
  • The Barking Katz Band will provide music during the morning hours. They play a mixture of Country, Blue Grass, Classic Rock and Roll, and Popular Contemporary.
  • Jed Wagner, a tremendously talented pianist and member of Manito Park Staff, will serenade us from 11:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. He will perform his own compositions with a classical flare.
