Riverfront Park's TV commercial “Date Pass” has just been named a finalist for the “Brass Ring Award for Marketing Excellence” in the television commercial category from the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.

“We are thrilled at the honor,” said Riverfront Park Assistant Manager, Debbie Dobson. “This is a national group of Amusement Park industry insiders who take marketing very seriously. So just to be named gives us a great deal of validation for the hard work we and the Quinn Group have put in to rebrand Riverfront Park.”

The strategy behind the ad came from research undertaken by the agency. Bonnie Quinn explains, “We evaluated the research and concluded that there could be substantial revenue growth at Riverfront Park from couples. So this commercial depicts scenarios where people at home could see themselves enjoying a day at Riverfront Park.”

The commercial features two couples on dates in the Park during the winter months. Along the way, the couples play miniature golf, take a lap ice skating in the Ice Palace, see an IMAX movie and ride on the SkyRide.

Quinn Group Advertising and Riverfront Park will find out who wins the award on November 20th at an awards banquet in Orlando Florida.
