Big screen movies, trivia, tasty food and a variety of entertainment will be on hand at the 2015 PEMCO Outdoor Movies at Riverfront Park in Spokane.
2015 is the third season of the Wednesday night summer series, set to kick off June 10 with the animated hit “Big Hero 6,” followed on June 17 by the adventure classic “Jurassic Park.”
The weekly showings continue with Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes crew in “Space Jam” on June 24 during Hoopfest week, “Back to the Future” on July 1, iconic teen comedy “10 Things I Hate About You” on July 8, and a timeless tale of true love, pirates and adventure in “The Princess Bride” on July 15.
Movies are shown on a 40-foot inflatable movie screen at Riverfront Park’s Lilac Bowl. Bring blankets, lawn chairs and warm clothes for a comfortable evening in the park. All events are dog-friendly and tobacco-free. Entry is $5 per person. Children five and under get in for free. Seating opens at 7 p.m. and movies start at dusk.
