Qualchan Golf Course hosts Drive, Chip & Putt Qualifier

The Creek at Qualchan Golf Course will host a local qualifier for the Drive, Chip & Putt Championship on Sunday, July 12, 2015. More than 100 youth between the ages of 7 and 14 will compete for a chance to move on to the next round on the road to the 2016 Masters in Augusta, GA in April.

The Drive, Chip & Putt Championship was created by the Masters Tournament Foundation, PGA of America and United States Golf Association. The championship is a free, nationwide junior skills competition for girls and boys ages 7-15. Participants compete in separate divisions in four age categories. Participants in the competition will advance through local, sub-regional and regional qualifiers conducted throughout the U.S. Spokane is one of a handful of Washington cities hosting a Pacific Northwest local qualifier.
