Riverfront Park’s iconic Rotary Fountain is repaired and running.

The problem appears to reside within the filter pump, which is responsible for circulating chemicals in harmony with the chemical injection system. We’ve run the fountain to monitor and test water quality and chlorine balance, which is well within safe limits.

If the fountain fails again, there may be long term repair needs - not uncommon for a fountain 11 years old.

We know how important the Rotary Fountain is to the Spokane community and will continue to prioritize maintenance and repairs. On hot days, our 17 splash pads can provide another option for free water play and heat relief.
