City of Spokane Parks and Recreation will host a Riverfront Park Redevelopment Open House to share progress on construction, and preliminary concepts for the North Bank including the destination playground.

Riverfront Park Redevelopment Open House – North Bank
Tuesday, October 30, 2018
6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Council Chambers, City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

The design team from Bernardo Wills, selected to design the North Bank, will present. The preliminary design concepts will overview the playground – one of the five bond projects – as well as additional recreation amenities, parking, and pathways.

Community members are encouraged to attend and engage, ask questions and provide feedback. For those who can’t attend, an online survey will launch shortly after the open house.

In 2014, citizens approved the Riverfront Park Master Plan which outlined five major redevelopment projects:

  • Recreational Ice Rink & SkyRide Facility
  • Looff Carrousel Building
  • Regional Playground
  • U.S. Pavilion & Event Shelters
  • Public Spaces & Park Grounds (Promenades)
