SPOKANE – Riverfront Park is bringing the fun this April with community engagement activities for all ages and abilities. 

 

ICCU Spring Market at Riverfront

The ICCU Spring Market returns with more than 50 local vendors and activities throughout the day.

Date: Wednesday, April 5

Time: 12 – 6 p.m.

Location: Rotary Fountain, Orange Howard St. Bridge, Locust Lawn, Pavilion

Event Schedule and Vendors

  • Join the Camp Kesem team from Whitworth University for chalk art, sidewalk games, and more at the Pavilion: 12 – 6 p.m.
  • Chance Rescue Mobile Petting Zoo on Locust Lawn adjacent to the Numerica Skate Ribbon: 1 – 4 p.m.
  • Pet fashion presented by Pawing Around Pet Boutique at the Rotary Fountain: 3 p.m.
  • Food vendors are scheduled to include Good ’Dilla, The Twisted Churro, Jerusalem Middle Eastern Cuisine, Surge Coffee, Tea’s Co., Kona Ice, Big Daddy Banh Mi’s, Island Style Food, Tre Palline Gelato Napolitano, and more

 

Easter Egg Hunts

One Heart Spokane has generously donated thousands of eggs and candy, doubling this year’s egg count to 20,000! Find a golden egg with prizes totaling up to $500 from River Park Square and other fabulous freebies provided by One Heart Spokane and Riverfront Park.

Riverfront has also teamed up with the ISAAC Foundation for the inaugural Sensory-Supportive Easter Egg Hunt at Providence Playscape. This event is geared towards all ages/abilities and includes stuffed eggs, staggered start times, and smaller crowds.

 

Date: Saturday, April 8

Times and Locations: 

  • 10 a.m.: 0-2yrs at Clocktower Meadow
  • 10:20 a.m.: 3-5yrs at Havermale Point
  • 10:30 a.m.: 6+yrs at Lilac Bowl
  • 11 a.m.: Sensory-Supportive Easter Egg Hunt at Providence Playscape (Online registration is highly recommended for the Sensory-Supportive Easter Egg Hunt as times may book out prior to event day)
