SPOKANE – Riverfront park’s iconic lilac butterfly has taken flight again, and Spokane Parks & Recreation invites the community to a ribbon cutting on Friday, October 13 at 1 p.m.
The butterfly is located near the corner of Mallon and Howard on the north end of Riverfront park.
The butterfly, originally built for Expo ’74, was reconstructed after high winds brought it down in January 2021. More information about the butterfly renovation.
