Major Crimes detectives investigating house fire as homicide

Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives are investigating the scene of a fire where two bodies were discovered early this morning. Detectives are investigating this incident as a homicide.

Just after 12 a.m. Spokane Fire Department responded to a report of a fully engulfed fire at the Cascade Mobile Home Park (2311 W. 16th). Once the fire was controlled, firefighters discovered two bodies inside the residence. Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives responded to the scene to investigate. A gun was located at the scene. The Spokane County Medical Examiner will release the official cause of death in this incident.
