Spokane Police Major Crime Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting occurring this evening on Spokane’s South Hill.
Just after 7 p.m. this evening, Spokane Police received a call of a shooting in the 2500 block of S Garfield. More than 25 officers responded to the scene and a K-9 track was initiated. The suspect was not located. The victim of the shooting was pronounced dead at the scene.
SPD Major Crimes detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and more information will be released as it becomes available.
