Spokane Police arrest Repeat Offender and 16-time convicted felon after he attempts to flee from police. 29 year-old Alexander Stormy was booked into jail for Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of a Controlled Substance –Methamphetamine after officers located him riding a stolen bicycle.
On 01-27-14 around 5:00 p.m. Spokane Police Neighborhood Conditions Officers (NCOs) observed 29 year-old Alexander Stormy near the intersection of 2nd and Wall. Stormy, a Repeat Offender, has 16 prior felony convictions and officers recognized him from prior arrests. When they attempted to contact him for traffic violations, he fled the area on his bicycle. Officers located him about a block away and took him into custody. Stormy was riding a bicycle worth several thousand dollars. Officers checked the serial number and found it had been reported stolen in a garage burglary on 8-12-13 and was worth an estimated $3,500. Officers located Methamphetamine in Stormy’s backpack. He was booked into jail for 2nd Degree Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.
Stormy is a prolific offender with 16 Felony convictions for crimes such as Theft 2nd Degree (2), Malicious Mischief 2nd Degree, Possession Stolen Property 2nd Degree (9), Possession of Controlled Substance (2) and Assault 3rd Degree (2).
