Police look to public to help ID Wal-Mart robbery suspect

Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives look to the public to help identify a suspect from a robbery that occurred on 9-24-13. The suspect threatened store security with a weapon. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.

On 09-24-13 around 11:20 a.m. Spokane Police responded to a robbery that occurred at the Wal-Mart at 9212 N. Colton. When loss prevention officers attempted to detain a shoplifter, the suspect displayed a knife, shoved the employee and fled on foot.

The suspect was describes as a: white male, 20-25 years, 5’8”-5’10”, average build with brown hair. He was wearing a red checkered shirt, camouflage-type jacket wrapped around his waist and blue jeans. He was carrying a “Jeep” brand backpack.

Police are asking that anyone with information about the suspects or who may have witnessed the incident to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
